1. In short. StartupSwipe has no accounts, doesn't ask for personal data, and doesn't sell anything about you. Your save stays on your device. If you leave anonymous stats on, we collect anonymous usage data to improve the game. You can turn them off at any time.

2. What stays on your device. Your saves and your settings (language, sound, and so on). They stay on your device. Uninstalling the game deletes them.

3. Anonymous stats. When they're on, the game sends events to PostHog (an analytics service, on servers in the European Union) such as: you opened the game, which chapter and day you're on, which type of company you picked, which minigames you played and whether you won, which characters you talk to and which hearts you earn, which scenes you see (and whether you skip them), which answers you pick, how a run ended, and whether you saw the purchase screen. It also sends the platform (iPhone, Android, computer or web), where the version came from (for example, the TestFlight beta), the language and the game's version.

Apart from stats, and even when they're off, the TestFlight, Google Play and App Store versions ask our website for a small file with the number of the latest version, to tell you if a new one is out. We send nothing about you in that request. As with any web page, the site can see your IP address.

4. How to turn them off. In the game: Settings › Send anonymous stats › No. It stops right away. If you uninstall the game, the random number is gone. On the web, the game honors your browser's Do Not Track signal.

5. Reminders. On a phone, the game can notify you to come back and play, only if you say yes. They're local notifications: your own phone schedules them, and they never go through a server. You can turn them off in Settings › Reminders or in your phone's settings.

6. Purchases. If you buy the full game on iPhone or Android, Apple or Google handles the payment. We never see your card or payment details.

6b. Achievements. On iPhone, if you use Game Center, the game reports the achievements you earn to Game Center. Apple handles that with your Apple account; we don't receive your Game Center identity.

7. Children. The game is meant for teens and adults. We don't ask anyone for personal data.

8. Your rights. Since we don't keep data that identifies you, we have nothing to show you or delete. If you have a question, write to us.

9. Changes. If this policy changes, the date above changes. If we ever add something that changes the above (ads, accounts), we'll say so beforehand.

Política de privacidad

Maurizzio Peñalba · Última actualización: 26 de octubre de 2026

No pedimos datos personales a nadie.

8. Tus derechos.
